Oh? Did I type that outloud?

When did it become okay to give glory and honor to a whore?

Over the course of the past few weeks – oh who am I kidding, over the course of the past few decades, the temperature of the classy woman has grown cold and dreary. We have gone from burning bra’s making the national headlines to women parading around the streets of our nation’s capital with vaginas on their heads, and now we are honoring whores as victims of circumstance because they chose to sleep with another woman’s husband.

I have had to turn off the news – simply because I am so sick of seeing these women being interviewed – time and time again, they tell their stories to hungry ears like it is some sort of heroic feat!

I don’t care what kind of “enlightenment” these women feel they have received in order to tell there “story” all over the media – (for millions of dollars) but it wasn’t anything righteous, that is for sure!

News flash: We don’t give glory to our sins.

You can email me all you would like with regard to the man in question – I can hear it now, “Holly, did you even hear the tape?”

Yes. Yes I did…. apparently you missed it though.

When Trump stated that he touched women – he emphasized the fact that these women “Allow it.” As a matter of fact, when listening to it (because it was played over and over) I picked up on how absolutely shocked he was over the fact that women simply “allowed it.”

That is what stopped me in my tracks  – What woman… real woman – would allow a man to do to her? Voluntarily? Who? Modern day woman, who want to use their own sexually promiscuous behavior to get their 15 minutes of fame… as what?

Well… the world would like you to see them as a victim.

But I deal with victims all day long – and these women are a far cry from victims! As a matter of fact, these women (and I use the term lightly), are the reason we needed the #MeToo movement – these women, these irresponsible, disgraceful, excuses for women – (Found in Proverbs 31:1-9)…. are what hold real women back from being all that God has called us to be (Found in Proverbs 31:10-31).

Not only has this become the modern-day-mantra for the “modern woman” – It is celebrated on television and in movies as if being a whore that sleeps with every “Tom, Dick, and Harry…” or now a days, “Sally or Sue” is some sort of  noble honor.

But what it is, is a disgrace to all things women.

God was relentless when it came to Israel’s defiance of His ordained plan – and I believe He will not be silent when it comes to ours either.

“How the faithful city has become a whore, she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers” (Isaiah 1:21).

Due to the fact that we are called to be a “city on a hill” Matthew 5:14 with the light of Jesus shining for all to see – I beg the women of the church to take a stand against such things that have defiled the species designed by God himself as the necessary “help” of mankind.

This “modern-day-woman” does not represent me or any woman that I surround myself with. Nor is she anyone who deserves my respect.

This modern-day-woman is fighting for her right to sin – and encouraging all other women to do so, by way of sexual immorality and when it gives way to a child, she continues her fight stating her “right” to murder.

I am beyond sickened by this – because the influence has reached through to our children, penetrating their minds to believe that they are allowed to break the commands of God, that this man-made, “god of free grace” would never send them to hell, that he loves everyone and everything – and therefore, they have a “right” to live life as they see fit.

“For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a man is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God” (Ephesians 5:5).

Even “c”hristian films have jumped on board of this obscene band-wagon. Most recently in the move by #Pureflix, #Samson – it wasn’t enough that they put the stamp of the Bible on it and called it “truth” – but to depict a vile human being such as Delilah as a victim – Oh PLEASE! Next time #Pureflix, why don’t actually use the Bible as your guide – rather than an afterthought.

It is time to stand up and speak out. Enough is enough!

Woah, big words, Holly! But I too am am having a hard time understanding how “I slept with that man,” is supposed to be some kind of accusation or great revelation? That’s not victimization at all, if anything it is actually abuse. Revealing these kinds of indiscretion serve no other purpose than to hurt some guy and try to avoid accountability yourself. I’d call it bullying actually, emotional and psychological abuse. Perhaps even a form of sexual abuse, not unlike posting intimate photos of an ex on social media.

It’s also really damaging to actual victims. That’s the saddest thing. It’s tough trying to promote respect for women and believing victims when they tell you their stories, when you’re up against a bunch of women who are basically just giving the impression that women are liars and vindictive ones, too.
