Holly T. Ashley

Oh did I type that outloud?

Lord, I pray…

We prayed. We sacrificed, and we answered the call… the seeds are planted… So I pray… “God, please let me…”

This has been a hard few months for me….

I am a passionate person, I wear my heart on my sleeve and if you know me you know where I stand on just about everything – and if you do not, then you most certainly have never met me.

I have deep convictions when it comes to my country (that comes from a lineage of politicians possibly), my children (who I planned and prayed for diligently), and my family (who is so nearsighted they are blind, says Paul) – yes, they are lost but they don’t think so… that is what that means..

And I hate it when people profess Christianity – without reading their Bible – they are leading people astray… and for a VERY LONG TIME…. I was one of those…

I was one of those lost sheep wandering around and not one soul was leading me in the right direction – so YES! Those people are the ones I hate the most. (Yep, I hate them – because they send people to hell) The Bible does NOT tell us to love as in “accept, procure a relationship with, have feelings for….” anyone other than our brothers in Christ – the others we have to “love” by way of existing with them and keeping the peace…

So deal with it.

So when it comes to the up and coming children…. my own as well as others…. I am a little passionate and my heart hurts for these that we are raising… especially to a Country that fights for the right to have our children recite, “One nation under God…” and “if you love Jesus, press like…”

Yes, I’m talking to you… those who “fight” for what is right…

The life of those have who walk away from Christ is a bitter, hateful world where the abundant life is replaced with evil people and delusions of grandeur.

These children, these young adults – the LARGEST growing population in America – those who are in their early 20’s… We’re losing them -And we are losing them at the rate of 70% each and every year.

These, our next generation of leaders! Ten years from now – where will you be? Because these kids… yes, these children – are who is going to be making the decisions for you in the next 10 years. And if you are steering them in the wrong direction… Woe is you.

If you are steering them in the wrong direction and they belong to me… and you call yourself a Christian…

Oh.. you just need to call on your inner-sprinter…

Because I’m coming for you.

Trying to live for Christ while living in this world is not easy – especially when your own family – including the parents, grandparents and churches who profess to know salvation are merely “wolves in sheep’s clothing.”

These are the people who give permission to those who live in sin, by way of false promises and worldly manipulation.

“These people draw near to Me with their lips. But their heart I far from Me. And in in vain they worship me. Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Matt. 15:8-9, Isaiah).

I pray for their destruction. Not of the destruction of their bodies – but of their possessions, of their pride, of everything they worship instead of you. So that all can see who YOU are and what really matters. So that the children, young adults that are “watching” and trying to please them will see the idiocy of their behavior and that they will see who YOU are and how much more desirable, honorable it is to serve you and not the pleasures of this world.

“Better is it that a millstone be hung around their neck and they be dropped to the bottom of the sea.”

As I watch these precious children, being guided down this path –

And guided, directed, summoned they are…

No, they are not being dragged or forced…

It is more like the murderer/pedophile that stands at the edge of the playground with the lollipop and candy… or the “lost puppy” story to coax the children away with them… to please their own sinful, selfish, prideful desires.

All the while, destroying the lives of these children – and leave the parents and the ones who love these precious children – with nothing but a hole in their heart and hopeless feelings of “what could I have done differently…”

Yes, these children… young adults… are tantalized with airfare, trips around the world and money for debts not paid, cars not deserved and fill their heads with lies, deceptions and twisting of the truth just enough to give blame to others rather than the reality of their own sin and responsibilities.

Sounds very much like the work of their “true” lord… Satan himself…

How easily are these led down this path of false realities and led away from Christ and those who strive to serve Him…

Candy-cane promises that tempt them into believing that the “sparkles and shine,” are theirs to grasp….

Only to find out in the end that their ill-fated lives and secrets shared are spread throughout the gossiping lives of those who they have trusted… and now onto the social media scene, multiple messages, prayer groups and gatherings… they are the spectacles of un-holiness to the world…

…and their “captures” are the martyrs….

“Saving” them from their desperate life… oh that life of responsibility, work and accountability…

“Teaching” them… the true meaning of life on earth… deception, pride, material possessions, striving for the wind…

And the … oh so untruth of: “Everyone goes to heaven… if we try to be good…” There is nothing “good” about deliberately taking children/young adults away from those who teach them the truth of scripture…

The only people who do that are evil people with their own sin to justify…

If heaven was based upon “good people,” there would be no heaven.

God knows the truth – for “There is nothing covered that will not be revealed.”

So… instead of placing their faith in Christ – These children and young adults,

Our children and young adults have run from those who keep them accountable and deny them self-righteousness, entitlements and the “right” to live lives of lies and unacceptable behavior that will lead to destruction –

And have determined (purposed in their hearts) to live with those who give them the permission…

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers and they will turn their ears from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” (2Tim. 4:3-4).

Only those who are true to Christ turn them back. Back to the foundation. In the order that God has appropriated… this is how we judge because this is how we want others to judge us.

That is the demonstration of Christianity – this is the fruit…

And when the evil people that lead these precious, vulnerable children away do it in the name of a Holy God – they take the name of God almighty in vain…

And that is oh so bad. Very, very, very bad. Their destruction is promised.

“They do not cry to me from their heart… they wail upon their beds… they made kings but not through me… with their silver and gold they made idols… they shall reap the whirlwind.” (Hosea 8).

When it comes to those who are weak, struggling for answers to their purpose, looking for ways to become productive members of society…

We are responsible for their growth – not for their demise.

If they are being led astray from the ones who teach them truth, then for those, God says it is better for a large, heavy stone to be hung around their necks and they be dropped to the bottom of the sea… rather than to face His wrath….

Romans says that “these” these “christians” with a little “c” deserve to die… (Rom. 2:28-32) because they know better… These gossiping, full of malice, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless…. even as they spout God’s Decrees…… yes, these adults… leaders of their church groups/Bible studies who know better – these irresponsible, prideful “church-going” pew-worshiping, pillar of community, missionaries…

Yes, these…

I pray…

I fall on my face before God and I pray…. Hard, as tears fall and my heart breaks, knowing I am without any power, except that which is given to me by God alone:

plankSo, I pray for their destruction…

And maybe that God will let me put the noose around their necks… or at least let me drop them into the sea.
