“Gather up the fragments that nothing may be lost.” Jn. 6:12
They gathered 12 baskets full of fragments.
Father God,
I am searching for 12 “baskets full of fragments” that started out as whole individuals who had hopes, dreams and desires but life tore off what it needed and left them broken, unusable, and feeling simply wasted…
That is until you commanded for them to be “gathered up” and by your redemptive grace and reconciling mercy, you reminded them that together they are here only because of your personal blessing on nothing more than a little boy’s snack pack.
I am looking for those baskets Lord… Men and women whose lives have been made usable at the hand of your recovering of them… “gathering” them, those who are not afraid of their battered and torn past, those who believe in they are qualified because of your holy Word. Those who have come to know you and that their broken, fragmented lives are the chosen pieces of your body: useful, with purpose. “That nothing may be lost.”
Help me find them.
In the name of Jesus, I pray.
In case you missed the request – R3 (Redemption Domestic Violence Services) is looking to put together our auxiliary board. This is a volunteer- full time- prayer warrior position that will serve to prayerfully guide and direct this ministry by the Gospel to the people. This auxiliary board will serve as the initial group to develop strategic plans and gather data for the use of Domestic Violence information, education, advocating, teaching, training and Biblical counseling. This board will also serve in development of marketing strategies, website design and development, SEC and social media as well as distribution of press releases and newsletters.
Make no mistake about it – we are looking for God-fearing, Christ-centered, committed disciples of Christ who will work hard and make time to bring the Gospel of Christ to those who have been hurt by or those who are hurting others by way of domestic abuse – including all aspects of sexual immorality – by guiding R3 and Cross Strength Ministries, LLC to launch this Christ-centered Domestic Violence program and service.
Prepare to be rejected, denounced, ignored, disrespected – But most of all be willing to get out of the boat and meet Him on the water, in the midst of the storm.
