Oh did I type that outloud?

You Have What it Takes to Lead a BIBLE Study?

Michelle Lesley

I am so sick of women’s ministry/discipleship/”Bible” study that centers around narcissistic navel-gazing, I could vomit. My hurts, my feelings, my opinions, my self image.

Newsflash- You’re not the only person on the planet who’s ever been hurt or had problems.

Awesome! Too much sense of entitlement in the world today. How many people with a sense of entitlement does it take to screw in a light bulb? Why just one of course. They stand still holding the bulb and the world revolves around them! 🙂

I recent saw two parents who wanted prayer for their daughter who had a job in another town. Her church needed a house for the housegroup so she offered hers. However the group spent nearly all the time talking about their sicknesses and didn’t get any better. Finally their daughter got sick and ended up being not able to walk without a frame. That really spoke to me on the need to look outwards as well as having personal prayer when needed.
