America’s Christianity Fails Again…

While conservatives are salivating over the fact that the murderous idiot Vance Boelter shot and injured two democrats and killed two other democrat congressmen/women – was appointed to a “workforce development board” by Tim Walz… Know this – He was quoted as being an “outspoken Christian” and had made several “missionary” trips to Africa where – as usual, he did NOT preach a gospel message, but one filled with political talking points –

The new religion of America: The religion of morality.

“But understand this … people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people” (2 Tim. 3:1-5).

Many accuse Dave and I of being dogmatic in our stance against what it means to hold the claim of Christianity, the sacrifices of being a disciple of Christ, and what is being preached from the pulpit and beyond – including those spiritual vacations taken in the name of missionary work.

This incident – and the factors leading up to it, is one of the many reasons why.

Boelter’s murderous rampage is no different than the attitudes stemmed by the beliefs of the protesters assaulting officers, the evangelist that sexually exploits women, or the church member that bears false witness against his brother – or the democrat that you loathe.

There is no fear of the LORD before their eyes (Rom. 3:18).

They believe their beliefs are more important than anyone else’s – and therefore, they have the right to… (fill in the blank). They have become their own god.

We moved from Arizona (where people there are at least honest about hating Christianity), to the Bible-belt – not realizing we were walking into the “Message” version – cloaked in KJV Old English with absolutely no one understanding what it says, as evidenced by their depiction of who their true god is: Their idol closely resembles The Chosen’s Jesus. The sissified version. The one who is “dying for you” to “accept” him and “allow him” to be your savior…

Blah… blah… blah…!

A far cry from the table-flipping, Jesus, who was, and is, and is to come King of kings, Lord of lords, Savior of the world – whether you “accept” Him or not…. clothed in the blood of His enemies who refused to bow to the name that is above all names – who has come to make war not peace (Mk 11:15-19; Is. 63:2-3; Rev 19:13).

We have probably been to 70 percent of the churches in middle Tennessee (we have to – we need biblical, discipling, teaching churches to refer to – and honestly, we haven’t found many).

But we have heard the actual gospel message preached three to five times. There was ONE church in town that demanded accountability from its members and practiced biblical church discipline – but they ran that preacher off as soon as he preached (exegetically) on the book of Romans. Coincidently, when David preached at these churches, he was quickly shown the door as well.

Go figure.

After that, the sermons are all the same – you either get the soft, effeminate pastors softly speaking words of encouragement, followed with songs of what Jesus can do for you… sung by a man with a bun in skinny jeans and back up performers in short-short skirts and low cut blouses – or you get the red-faced, flailing arms, of some un-prepared, uneducated, wanna-be who only cites one out of context verse as the introduction as to how he saved the world this week – or give you the last week updates of Fox News… all while demanding your hearty amen at the end of each sentence.

When the Bible is not properly exegeted from the pulpit, this is what we get.

When churches hire part-time preachers who call themselves pastors – or don’t fire unqualified, unfit, preachers – (or are not even set up to fire the one of many pastors on staff as per the biblical outline for setting up church leadership) –

We get this.

We have also come into the new phase of illiterate Christianity. It’s called Conservative-Christians. These are those people who attend church every Sunday – and praise Trump as their god that day, and every moment of their wakened-state after.

They decorate their cars and boats with his name, plan parades, give their money, post memes, plan and attend pricey dinners, dedicate 99.9 percent of their time talking about how blessed we as a country are, because he is their leader.

What he is, is their god.

We have come into the age of fools and morons who do not understand biblical theology and doctrine.

And they have become conservative preachers. Rather than the gospel of Christ – they preach Trump and his Republican party – fake salt! Rather than biblical theology and doctrine, they preach values and morals (with the Republican party as their standard). Rather than studying the Scripture as they are commanded to do – they study the latest polls and headlines.

It is a sickness really.

As much as Trump derangement syndrome is real, Trump worship delusion is real.

“Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussions” (1 Tim 1:6).

And this is what you get.

Idiots like Boelter whose twisted, delusional, mind, so caught up in Republican talking points, and taking the moral high ground – rather than the power of the gospel (that he’s probably never heard)– takes matters into his own hands and goes on a shooting spree. Make no mistake about it – he had planned to go into the midst of the protests and we would have had blood flowing through the streets (hence the flyers found in his car).

This is the new doctrines of conservative Christianity. Leave the gospel of Christ behind and forge ahead with the Republican doctrine.

…and remember to focus in on the thing that will give us the moral high ground.

That will be a hard no.

VERY FEW so-called preachers (goats/wolves) are actually preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ – Even fewer so-called “Christians” disciple their families at home – opting for children’s church or vacation Bible school…  So, what do Americans know? These stupid sheep are left to do whatever their little pea-brained, depraved minds know – evil.

Evil. In every form conceivable and contrary to biblical doctrine. Democrat and Republican.

And that is on every single “church” that has a moron for a “preacher,” and allows him to continue to stand in the pulpit.

“If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand” (EZ 3:18-19).

Nothing can change the heart of a man. No president. No policy. No social media or blog post. Only the power of the Holy Spirit can change a man’s heart. But if you have a “pastor” who doesn’t know theology from the Republican platform – well then. You get what we’ve gotten.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”(Rom. 10:14-15).

The fact is, the Holy Spirit is not welcome here – in our pulpits, on our streets, in our communities, in our schools, in our government, let alone our homes. If He were, then there would indeed be revival.

That fact is, we don’t have revival in America – because you don’t want revival in your own life.

The gospel isn’t being preached because you hire ONE pastor who will be your “yes-man.” He’ll say what you want and how you want it said… nothing more, nothing less.

So, we highly recommend you get off your high horse, or the only banquet you’ll be attending is not at the wedding feast – but a Trump feast.

And I can assure you, it will cost you dearly.
