Joseph Hannon’s license status in Florida as a Doctor of Podiatry was changed to Null and Void on March 31, 2010, all of 8 days after the ACA was signed into law. That status is usually granted after the licensee goes 2 years without renewing his or her license. His decision to quit his profession must have been about more than just “ObamaCare.”
Well then Mr. Horrigan, that explains everything. Long before Obama care even hit the Congressional floor- the cuts started to occur. One of the first things cut was Podiatry. No longer did Medicare cover this necessity- and I say that because I owned a Medical supply, specializing in Diabetes- foot care is crucial… but then again, so are test strips and insulin… but those got cut too… So, I saw this train wreck coming while the Clinton’s were in office- as I am sure Dr. Hannon did as well so he was smart to jump ship before it started sinking! I commend him even more.
