Oh did I type that outloud?

Seeking Unity

Seeking Unity

“Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division...” (Luke 12:51).

-Jesus Christ, Lord of lords. King of kings.

If you have not watched the news over course of the past year, I will tell you this – you have not missed a thing. Unfortunately, I understand that there are many, like me, that spend a lot of time on social media and reading news stories – and I understand that it is part of our job as good Christian citizens to be well informed.

As a matter of fact, for those of us who serve the MORAL AUTHORITY, it is our job to warn, admonish, rebuke, and teach those who are immature in their faith – as well as those who have gone off course (2 Tim. 3:16). Unlike the sermon we heard preached yesterday…. which was the most mind-boggling annihilation of Romans 16 that I have ever been witness to…

But, that’s the state of today’s church – “Peace! Peace” when there is no peace.

2020 has been a wreck… an eye opening, tree-shaking, revealing look into the devastation that has become the “church.”

Between the Tennessee Tornado, Wuhan flu, the riots, violence, and the election of the 2021 Congress and Presidency – Not to mention the lack of a demand for the “holy and righteous” church to vote for a government who will fight to protect our religious freedom, biblical marriage, God-given biological identity, and right to life…

I must admit that I have gathered more than enough data to make my informed decision(s).

And quite frankly, I’ve had it with the justifications and excuses from little “c” Christians who cry out for “unity” between the church and evil doers.

That includes the movement towards “social justice” and “wokeness” by the evangelical/Christian communities.

News flash: We are not been called to be unified with non-Christians. We are not to be conformed to this world in ANY way, shape, or form – (Rom. 12:2) or to serve their agenda – which is another way of saying “false doctrine.”

This past week, my husband, Pastor David Ashley, was asked to join in a massive event in our town, highlighting the “different viewpoints” of our community in an attempt to “help unify our community and the world we live in.”

The other guests on this “little c”hristian’s platform included members of the black lives movement, lesbian and gay community, white supremacists, and of course a female “pastor.” There were more, but we quit listening – especially after the host explicitly noted that he was using his evangelical platform as a way for these individuals to express themselves in order to be “understood…”

“You know…” he explained, “because we are called to love…”

But, above all else, we are called to be holy.

“But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Pt 1:16

The Greek translation for the adjective “Holy” is to be pure. Blameless. Innocent. Sanctified.

Set apart.

Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

2 Tim. 2:21

Not only did my husband decline – He vehemently and actively condemns any Christian who would ever participate in such a violation of the command to keep the bride of Christ, holy, pure, and blameless, (2 Cor. 11:2; Eph 5:27; Rev. 19:7). This includes any and all platforms that violate the proclamation of the gospel of Christ.

As (capital “C”) Christians, we are not called to “understand” people who are living in sin.

We do not have to. Been there, done that… and redeemed by the blood of Christ from that!

People who deliberately and willfully live in sin are certainly not any “neighbors,” of the Christian community – as a matter of fact, the Bible declares them as “enemies of God,” and declares that these have been given over to a “debased mind” and they as well as those who give approval to their practice of immorality or any other inventors of evil… “deserve to die” (Rom. 30 & 31).

*just to clarify for the idiot who doesn’t have what it takes to approach me to my face, and will anonymously attack me for calling for the demise of non-Christians… God has already declared them dead, worthless, good for nothing, evil…. and their eternal resting place will be a place He designed for their eternal damnation, Hell, “where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Lk. 13:28; Matt 13:42).

He just wanted us to know that they “deserve” it.

Therefore, we are instructed to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, WITH THOSE WHO CALL ON THE LORD FROM A PURE HEART.” (2 Tim. 2:22).

People who are practicing sin – do NOT have a pure heart and therefore we are not to “Pursue” righteousness, faith, love, or peace with them –

Because there is no peace to be had!

“Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.”

Lk 6:26.

The Bible, written by the Almighty, holy, righteous, loving – and just God – (2 Tim. 3:16) commands the church to HAVE NOTHING TO DO with being unequally yoked because there is NO FELLOWSHIP between the darkness of this world and the light of Christ.

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”

2 Cor. 6:14.

Frankly, I blame the church and its leadership.

They are cowards.

Failing to take a stand for righteousness and God’s holy name – they fall for everything unholy, unrighteous, evil, forsaken by God – all to fill their seats and avoid righteous confrontation.

Because we have failed to “purge the evil from amongst us,” (1 Cor. 5:13), as Paul commanded for the church to do – we have allowed Satan a foothold. We have given him a tool to use to confuse the world into thinking that anyone can claim alliance with Christ – no matter what they believe, or how they live.

“God is light and in Him is no darkness AT ALL, if we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness (like that of someone burning down and looting buildings, threatening, intimidating others if they do not bow to BLM ideologies, or living out sexual immorality, or taking a position in direct opposition of the teachings of Christ), then you LIE” (1 Jn. 1:5-6).

God does not have any “fellowship” with darkness –

THERE IS NO “UNITY” WITH DARKNESS AND LIGHT.

As a matter of fact, when they are within the church, we are called to “Remove them” (1 Cor. 5:2). “Purge the evil from among you” (1 Cor. 5:2)…

And unlike the false teachings of the soon to be graduate of seminary, yesterday – that does not mean that we continue a relationship with them… It does not mean we go chasing after them, with “love” on our hearts and a Bible in our hands.

It means what it says: “Have NOTHING to do with them” (1 Cor. 5:11).

We are to keep the bride of Christ, holy, pure, and blameless.

Period.

The quest for “unity” and that includes the semantic use of the word “understanding” as it pertains to a non-Christian worldview, is a lie from the pits of hell! And I am appalled that so many so-called- “c”hristians are falling for it.

Yes, the Bible tells us to “love you enemies, pray for those who persecute you…”

But we are not talking about your enemies… you know those who hug you in public, but gossip behind your back… the ones who steal your words that you have written and use them as their own…

Yeah – those are YOUR enemies – big-fat-meanies – who you no longer talk to, but when push comes to shove, you will bind their wounds, and be there for them when their world comes crashing down – as commanded.

But in today’s America, (and today’s blog), make no mistake, I am talking about those who are enemies of God, who are in direct violation of His commands.

And there is not – nor will there ever be, “Unity” between a holy God a an unrepentant, self-righteous, self-serving, sexually immoral, idolatrous, greedy, sin ladened mankind.

TRUE LOVE is telling the TRUTH – That includes the truth about the sinful condition of mankind and the wrath of a holy God.

This call for “unity” is so directly in violation with everything taught in the holy Scriptures that it blows my mind the number of church-going people, who have been captivated (imprisoned… or as Paul put it, “bewitched”) by this new idol worship and false doctrine.

Currently, Christians find themselves defending the faith. Although a Catholic, we watched as newly sworn in Justice, Amy Barrett, defended her position regarding her “faith” that she rightly believes, prohibits her from taking a pro-murder stance towards unborn children as well as the unholy rights of those who desire to practice sexual immorality.

I suppose that is why the Bible warns us to “always be able to make a defense of the hope that is within us” (1 Peter 3:15).

Christians who are persecuted for not bowing down to racists like those who support the black lives matter ideologies (false doctrines) are condemned for … ironically… being racist.

Christians who refuse to condone lawlessness – are threatened, maligned, coerced, intimidated, and bullied…

Christians who refuse to accept the mutilation of the human body in the name of gender identity or condone homosexuality (and now the push is on for pediphelia) – are called bigots and homophobes.

And not just by idiots committing the lawlessness – but by those in the Christian community as well!!!

What kills me are those who profess to be Christians – and are just SHOCKED that they are being “treated this way…” So, they misinterpret Scripture and say they are “peacemakers,” and bow-down to these other gods… these false doctrines.

Yet, Paul and Peter admonish the Christian to quit acting like when the “world hates you,” it’s like some foreign thing that has been thrust upon you…” (1 Peter 4:12).

It should not be foreign!

If it is – I suggest you take a closer look at your “faith” and make sure you are not guilty of “professing to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.” (Titus 1:16).

The world should hate you – to the point of death.

That is, if you are truly living your life like Christ.

The Bible promises us that the Christian will be persecuted (2 Tim. 3:12) if we are truly living our lives the way we are called to do, the world will act  “surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery and they [WILL] malign you.” (1 Peter 4:4, emphasis obviously mine).

The Bible uses analogies of the Christian life as being in battle – telling us to SUIT UP. Telling us to “Be strong and act like MEN” – Not some cowering child afraid of being bullied – but a strong, steadfast, fearless, well disciplined, fully equipped, WARRIOR, dressed in the full armor of God, and ready to defend his King of kings. (2 Cor. 6:14-16; Eph 6:10-11).

What “king” are you defending?

Who is it that you really love?

If its not Christ, then it must be the king of (insert your name here). You are not being righteous, but self-righteous, seeking after the approval of man, not God.

Woe to you.

Therefore, I am here to admonish, rebuke, and correct you, that you might turn back to the One True God and repent.

For the Kingdom of God is at hand, and you are either for him or against Him. For there is no middle ground… There is NO UNITY between the Light and the darkness of this world.

Light is the judgement, exposing the darkness that is evil (Jn. 3:19).

There is NEVER to be unity with the world Christian! NEVER.

There is not ever a reason for “understanding” of what they think, what they believe, or how they feel – It does not matter.

It is irrelevant.

The ONLY thing that matters is what Jesus says. And since Jesus tells us that God’s word is stamped on their hearts… (Pr. 19:14) that EVERYONE has seen the glory of the Lord (Rom. 1:14, 19) and is without excuse (Rom. 1:20)–

Then they know it too (Rom. 1:19-20). They are simply in denial and choosing to live as evil enemies of God and therefore, they are not deserving of your friendship, acceptance… or your “understanding.”

And if you fail to warn them or you “accept” them for “who they are,” then you have put a stumbling block between them and the Lord – and it will be better if you were tied down with heavy stones and drown in the lake, (Matt 18:6), then when you face God (Heb. 10:31).

“You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Js. 4:4

Hot or cold. (Rev. 3:15-17).

Goat or sheep. (Matt 25:32).

Heaven or hell. (Matt 25:41).

Choose this day who you will serve. (Joshua 24: 14-15).

If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

EZ 3:18.
