Hey! Did we move?

Mom! Where’d you pack my freedom?

I mean, did the Nation hire a moving team, pack us up and move us out of the freedom we know as America?

It seems like I just blinked and poof the flag-flying, proud, manufacturing, thinking, inventive, stand for something or fall for anything, God-fearing, Americans have left the building and we have been replaced by… well.. I don’t really know what to call it…?

 Let’s see…

Entitled, self-seeking, liberal, self-entitled, underserving, spoiled rotten, terrorists who believe in mass tyrannical government,  non-compliant with the constitution or the blood, sweat and tears of not just our fore-fathers, but the military men and women who have fought for those freedoms…. led by a government who is now force-feeding us taxation without representation and calling it “Affordable Heathcare…”

Evil.

A place where you can mass-murder children at movie theater and claim insanity for a lesser sentence. (Story here)

A place where a child can abort her unborn baby without telling her mother about it –but she can’t get a lung to save her own life. (well… now she can – thank you Social Media and fabulous Americans!)

A place where you have the “right” to live on your own even though you are mentally ill and you “have the right” to determine whether or not to take your medication…  that is until you shoot eighteen people killing six of them including a sweet little nine-year old girl in a Safeway parking lot… yes, yes, and Gabby Gifford got shot too… I know… we all know.

A place where a man must, at the tender age of 18, sign up to volunteer for his mandatory “American duty,”  if needed –  only to come back to a foreclosed house and being replaced at his job – not to mention NOT be allowed to fly his American flag on his own proverbial porch steps. (statistically speaking: 1 out of every 3 homeless persons are veterans). ABC News, 2009.

What has our country come to when our Religious freedoms are taken away and liberal theism, atheism and agnostic views, evolutionary thought, philosophy, not to mention free will to destroy, disable and terrorize the Christian conservatives- at the hands of our own government be forced upon us along with liberal views that attack the very essence of our historical religious controversy?

 The very words of : Jonathan Mayhew (Revolutionary War) –

“Hasn’t America become the “Church of England… the dangerous, almost diabolical enemy of the New England [American] way.”

Isn’t that precisely what our forefathers fought for in the Revolutionary war? Freedom. Religious freedom. Righteous freedom.  

How is it then, that a Valedictorian (Good for you Liberty High School Valedictorian Roy Costner IV) of an American High School (Pickens County School District) can be (almost) prohibited from reciting the Lord’s prayer in this “One nation under God?” (Watch it here, in case you missed it – he ripped up the pre-approved speech! but you gotta hear what he did and how they cheered!)

America has become the place where we have very limited freedom and we are seeing that freedom going away every, single day.

Our Christian based nation no longer allow children to recite the Pledge of allegiance or pray.

Our Christian Pastors are being threatened to be banned from certain Biblical truths found in scripture.

It is now a place where you can fly in and out of without any fear  of “Racial profiling” so that you can be trained to almost succeed in blowing the USA to kingdom come… oh wait… that has religious implications… I guess I should say… to hell and back.. no…. that’s not allowed/discussed either…

Most of us older folks remember 911. I know one of the things that stuck me hard and  I will never forget was the hypocrisy of  Congress who stood on the steps of the Whitehouse and sang “God Bless America,” and I remember then, like I do now, getting angry and physically ill. I thought, “Really…? Now you want Him to bless you? Good luck with that.”

In 1938, composer Irving Berlin penned these lyrics to “God Bless America.”

“While the storm clouds gather far across the sea, “Let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free… Swear allegiance to a land that’s free.”

Those words  represent the very reason our forefathers fought the Revolutionary war in 1774 – so that we could be FREE – Free from tyrannical oppression by the British – that included a long list of iniquities, but most importantly was our freedom of religion. The very basis of “Love the Lord your God will all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.”

 How ignorant are we to just give it back?

Yesterday in Arizona, we celebrated the life of a fallen soldier – Justin Sissen who died protecting our freedom and our borders. Our flags were flown at half mass yet the very SAME DAY… a U.S. Veteran was asked to take his American Flag down from his residence: Arizona Fox 10 Reported it this way:

‘“It’s my country.”

Air Force veteran Steven Hays has been flying his 4 by 6 American flag at every apartment he’s lived in.

“My youngest daughter served 2 tours in Iraq, my brother, my stepson are both medically retired from the military, my father and his 4 brothers all served,” says Hays.

When he moved into the Park Ridge Apartments near Cactus and 51 eight months ago, he says he was told he could fly the flag all year round.

“I hang it from the hook, the stars are on this side.”

But he says the apartment manager told him to take it down on Tuesday.”’

 I wonder how long our men and women will be fighting for America’s freedom and protecting our borders in Iraq, Afghanistan… other parts of the world – and all the while the real war for freedom is going on here – on America’s front porch – You know, the one where you can no longer fly your flag.
